1. Terms and eligibility
These terms form the agreement between you and Temp88 for the services on this site and apply together with our Privacy Policy. You must have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
Some third-party websites do not accept disposable email addresses or have their own rules for aliases, verification codes, and account registration. Temp88 does not authorize you to bypass those rules and does not guarantee that third parties will accept addresses from this site.
2. Service components
A temporary inbox creates a short-term address when you open the page, allowing you to read incoming messages during its validity period. Permanent forwarding is a separate logged-in feature that lets you create aliases, pause and resume them, view recent archives, and configure two-factor authentication.
We may adjust domains, quotas, polling frequency, and supported formats for security, capacity, or maintenance. If a change materially affects logged-in users, we will provide notice when reasonably practicable.
3. Temporary addresses and expiration
New temporary addresses are valid for 3 hours by default and may be extended, but their total lifespan cannot exceed 24 hours from creation. Replacing an address removes the old one from the current workflow. Messages already in transit may still be delivered to the old address and will not appear in the new inbox.
Temporary inboxes are not suitable for banking, government, healthcare, payment, work identity, or any account you may need to recover later. Addresses, tokens, and messages that expire or are cleared are not guaranteed to be recoverable.
4. Forwarding accounts and security
You must control the real email address used to log in and are responsible for the verification codes, sessions, and two-factor authentication keys you receive. If you suspect unauthorized use, log out immediately, pause your aliases, and contact support.
Do not share accounts to bypass quotas or use aliases to impersonate an unrelated person or organization. We may require re-verification or restrict sensitive actions when unusual risk is detected.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Temp88 for lawful privacy separation, short-term email reception, public contact aliases, and authorized delivery testing. All use must respect sender-platform rules, intellectual property, privacy rights, and anti-spam requirements.
You must not use the service for fraud, harassment, credential theft, malicious code, bulk registration without consent, or any activity that harms networks or users. Even if an activity is not expressly listed, it may still be treated under this section when it clearly causes similar harm.
6. Capacity, attachments, and technical limits
Temporary inboxes do not retain attachments, and oversized messages may be rejected. Attachments, archives, and downloads for permanent forwarding are subject to account permissions, quotas, sender formats, and security checks.
Messages pass through multiple independent systems, so delays, bounces, formatting damage, and false positives cannot be completely avoided. Do not treat Temp88 as your sole evidence repository, legal archive, or disaster-recovery system.
7. Email content and third parties
Senders are responsible for the emails they send, and you are responsible for content you submit, forward, or use. Temp88 does not endorse offers, links, files, or identity claims in emails and does not perform transactions on behalf of third parties.
If an email appears to contain phishing or malicious content, do not click its links. You may report the necessary header information to support. We may block known dangerous payloads or delivery sources for security purposes.
8. Restrictions, suspension, and termination
To protect the service, we may use verification challenges, rate limits, domain rejection, feature suspension, or account termination. We may act immediately against urgent threats, clear fraud, or automated attacks; in other cases, we will provide notice when reasonably practicable.
After termination, your access to the service ends, and archives and settings may be cleared according to the retention schedule. Termination does not remove obligations incurred before termination or affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including liability limits and dispute terms.
9. Brand, software, and feedback
The Temp88 site interface, code, logos, and original copy are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant only the limited, revocable, non-transferable permission needed to use the service normally.
You may not copy the site to impersonate an official service, remove rights notices, or interfere with technical protections. We may use suggestions you voluntarily submit to improve the service, but this does not give us ownership of your email content.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that addresses will always be accepted by third parties, every email will arrive, content will be harmless, the service will be uninterrupted, or cleared information can be recovered.
Choose an email address appropriate to the value of the account and keep independent backups of important information. No oral statement expands the warranties expressly stated in these terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Temp88 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or reputation. This limitation applies especially to email delays, third-party rejection, user-disclosed tokens, and the inability to recover expired data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liabilities to be excluded completely, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted by local law. We do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or matters that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, risks, or features and will show the effective date on this page. Continuing to use the updated service means you accept the new terms. If you disagree, stop using the service before they take effect and delete any managed aliases.
If a dispute arises, please email support@temp88.com first, so both sides have an opportunity to resolve it directly. Applicable law and mandatory consumer rights will be determined under the rules relevant to your location and relationship with the service.
